Chanel Resynchronizing Skincare

In spring of last year, Chanel launched their Resynchronizing Skincare line consisting of three products; Le Jour De Chanel, La Nuit De Chanel, and Le Weekend De Chanel. A product for the day, the night, and the weekend respectively. I have had the chance to use these for a while and form a thorough opinion on them.

First up is Le Jour. It features a light serum-like consistency for use before your normal morning moisturizer. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling and absorbs fairly quickly after application. It contains Salicylic Acid to improve skin texture and Grasse Jasmine Extract to "invigorate" the skin. Out of the three products, this is the one with the least noticeable effects. The scent is very light and all three actually have a rose smell to them, however it dissipates after a short time on the skin.

Next is La Nuit, a thicker and creamier product for use in the evening alone or with your own night cream. I have found that this alone is enough for my skin at night, and I always wake up with a bit of a glow. It can make your skin slightly oily so if you are not a person who cleanses in the morning then you may need to with this product. Ingredients include Frankincense Extract and Hyaluronic Acid (which explains the glow!). This is my favorite of the trio, and I have used it the most!

Last we have Le Weekend, which as the name suggests, is designed for use during the weekend. This one is actually meant to be used in place of your usual skincare (serums, and creams), and is a little more heavy-duty than the other two. Le Weekend features Rose Water and a Glycolic Acid Complex for more intense skin repair. Due to the inclusion of the Glycolic Acid, when using this product you have to be more careful when it comes to sun exposure and always wear sunscreen!
1.7 fl oz - $115

I have a set of all three that is unfortunately no longer available. Sizes shown are 0.5 fl oz.
