Vita Liberata Tinted Self Tan

This is the newest version of the Vita Liberata Tinted Self Tan Lotion. I'm not sure if it has been reformulated or if it is just new packaging. It is a little disappointing that you only get 3.38 oz (100 ml) now, when before it was 6.76 oz (200 ml). However, it does come with a price reduction as well ($30 now, $37.50 before).

Product

On to the product itself and it's performance. I still think this is the easiest lotion self-tan to apply, rivaled only by the Tarte Brazilliance (out of the many that I've tried). It isn't hard to get an even application, and it absorbs really quickly while still giving you time to work it in.  The consistency of it makes it really easy to blend it out on those hard to tan areas (hands, feet, knees).  It is also really moisturizing, which is great for dry skin days when a mousse would leave you with crocodile skin.

Smell

It takes much longer to get that self-tan stench, so it doesn't have an overpowering fragrance that tries to mask it. It really doesn't have a smell to it at all, which is preferable over the alternative.

Performance

You can get a really deep color with this if you leave it on overnight (I do have the Dark version), but you can also get a really nice color if you leave it on for only 4-6 hours. I have left it on for 3 hours and still gotten great results. That is always a plus if you don't have much time to tan. I have never gotten streaky from this product, but I have been using self-tan since around eighth grade (~2002). If you are looking for something very light and barely noticeable, this probably isn't the one for you. They do make a gradual self-tan that might be more of what you're looking for!

Before on the left, After washing off (~6 hours)

Overall, I looove this tanner. It's a great low-smell, easy self-tan to use.
Don't forget to always use gloves or a mitt!!

Available at Sephora $30 for 3.38 oz (100ml)
