I have just gotten into the whole body "makeup" thing. I really was never interested because I felt that it was just be a clothing-staining, caught-in-a-rainstorm embarrassing streaky mess. I tried out this product, as well as Perfekt's Matte Perfection Gel.

Caudalie Divine Oil
I kept hearing good things about the Caudalie Divine Oil, but I really wasn't interested for the longest time. When I finally tried it I had actually been looking for an oil I could use on my hair that didn't have any silicone in it. When I got it I tried it on the ends of my hair and it was nice; it didn't leave my hair too greasy or oily looking and smoothed any rebellious strands. The smell is very unique and can take some getting used to - even though it is not overpowering. Something about the scent is surprising at first, and then becomes familiar and something you want to smell of.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Photos & Swatches
This palette contains 12 neutral rose-hued shadows. There tends to be a bit of fallout with the glittery shadows, but overall they are pigmented and blend beautifully. Even though the shadows are more pink-toned they are still totally versatile and you can get a ton of different looks with a single palette.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel
I have been dealing with some hormonal acne for the past two years. My skin has calmed down a bit, but I still get a few monthly breakouts. Benzoyl Peroxide doesn't work for my skin, so I am left with Salicylic Acid (I also use sulfur products that I will get into in another post). I usually have good luck with products containing Salicylic Acid as far as breakouts are concerned, so I assumed that this Clinique clearing gel was just what I needed.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream
I have been looking for the perfect daytime moisturizer for what seems like forever. One that isn't greasy, doesn't break me out, doesn't smell disgusting and leaves my skin perfectly balanced. Some were too heavy, and some not heavy enough. I am often hesitant to try new products on my face for fear of a bad reaction. After having this product for a while I finally decided to try it out. It turned out to be everything that I was looking for, and it was so unexpected!

Marc Jacobs Magic Marc'er Precision Pen Liner
This eyeliner from Marc Jacobs has converted me to pen liners. I always preferred the dip in brush for my liquid liner, because I assumed that any pen liner would dry out or not be fluid enough to get the line I wanted. The Magic Marc'er has erased my fears and left me perfectly lined for hours.

Illamasqua Cream Blush in Rude
When
Spring and Summer roll around I prefer a lighter, dewier look to my makeup. Powder
blush can look a little cakey, and in the Spring/Summer I just want a fresh glowing
face. Cream blush is a good way to combat the powdered face look, and this one
from Illamasqua is perfect. It is extremely pigmented and blends out like a
dream. You have to use a light hand, or you can end up looking like a clown. It stays all day, unlike some that I have encountered that are gone
within an hour, and with the small amount that you need this is going to last you
a while.

Ole Henriksen Truth To Go Wipes
Something I've been really liking these days are the Ole
Henriksen Truth To Go Vitamin C wipes. They are cleansing wipes that have
Vitamin C and micro algae and they smell like an Orange Creamsicle. These really
take off any face makeup and even eye makeup. You have to be careful not to get
the wipe directly on your eyeball or it will sting, but just wiping it over the
eyes hasn't caused me any trouble. I usually use coconut oil to remove eye
makeup but when I am too lazy to be bothered with that, I can just use these babies.
I still wash my face after using these, but for nights when I am too tired this
is much better than just sleeping in makeup. I feel that these clean better
than regular drugstore wipes and they are huge, you can cut them in half and
still have enough to get your face and neck.

Sephora Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer
This product claims to provide moisture and reduce excess oil while SPF 20 protects your skin from the sun. I have combination skin, while oily in my T-zone the rest of my skin is pretty dry- so I was curious to see how this would wear on me.
